I saw this idea on a DIY makeover…a couple were short on resources and wanted to turn their nook into a bar. Without extra money for art behind the bar, the designer went to a local office supplies store, bought 20 black, round mousepads, and arranged them in a 4x5 grid on the wall. Less than $25, easy to remove, and so cute! The headboard option is also adorable.
Plain mousepads are available at the Dollar Store. Graphic and patterned ones are available at crafts stores, and most of these shown are from Etsy. Gillmore Creations has pretty patterned ones.
